Sustainability Statement

Optimat has a strong commitment to sustainable development through the influence that we can bring to bear in both our consultancy activities and in our operations.

Products & Services

  • Ensuring that our business clients are aware of the strategic opportunities and threats from sustainable development issues
  • Providing practical advice to the public sector and its agencies on how the business and trade association communities can improve the sustainability of their industries and be encouraged to address the wider barriers to global sustainable development
  • Maximise leverage of public sector funding and co-investment schemes to advance the state-of-the-art of sustainable knowledge-based businesses in the UK and Europe

Operations

  • Our Environmental Policy covers the key issues for our type of business and includes minimising the use of the planets resources (eg energy & paper usage), maximising recycling (waste paper, electronic equipment and print cartridges) and minimisation / prevention of pollution (minimise transportation, video conferencing and remote working).
  • Accreditation to the Investors In People (IIP) standard and actively support both flexible and remote working to minimise environmental impacts of non-essential and peak time travel to work.
  • Relocation to our new Head Office in Glasgow, a building that has been designed to a high BREEAM rating and includes the use of renewable energy sources
