The European Association of National Metrology Institutes - Coordination Study

Optimat presents the results of its Coordination Study to EURAMET’s members

Optimat has recently completed a study for EURAMET, the European Association of National Metrology Institutes, to understand its members’ visions for enhancing the coordination of metrology in Europe and to define strategic options that address their visions.

A number of strategic options were developed, based on independent research and extensive consultation with EURAMET’s members and representative groups.  These options recognised the roles of a number of key stakeholder groups in the development of a coordinated European metrology infrastructure.

The results of our report were presented at the EURAMET Directors' Workshop on Coordination in European Metrology in Berlin in January.  It was agreed that EURAMET will now build on our work to develop its coordination strategy.
